Line Formatting in OnSong — Because Plain Text is Boring

Okay, so you wanna make your lyrics look fancy? OnSong's got you covered, fam. Basically, you can slap some weird characters in front of your lines & boom — instant pizzazz in the song viewer.

Here's the deal: Pick a song, tap that little pen thingy in the menu bar to crack open the song editor, & then start stickin' these magical symbols before your text:

*This line will be bold
/This line will be italicized
!This line will be bold and italicized
_This line will eventually be underlined
&red:This text will be red
&#123456:This text will be a custom color using HTML color codes
>yellow:This line will be highlighted in yellow

• Make it THICC by droppin' an asterisk at the start. You're welcome.
• Slant it real good by addin' a forward slash. Very artsy. Very you.
• Go full drama mode with an exclamation point. Bold and italic? We see you.
• Underline? LOL not yet. We're workin' on it. Patience, grasshopper.
• Wanna change text colors? Drop an ampersand, then pick a color name or color code, add a colon, & boom — colors, baby.
• Highlight it like it's exam season by startin' with a greater-than symbol, then a color name or color code, then a colon. Your lyrics are now GLOWING.
