Look, bazillions of peeps rock iPads & iPhones, but like... actually knowin' how to cram your tunes onto 'em? ZOMG, plot twist. Follow these brain-meltin' steps to get your jams synced up via USB cable (yeah, we still do that).
- Plug your device into a computer with the USB sync/charge cable that hopefully came in the box. Make sure the computer's got iTunes 12 installed & actually runnin' (shocking, we know).
- In iTunes, click that teeny Device Icon chillin' below the volume slider & pick your device if you're fancy enough to own like seventeen of 'em.
- Tap the Music button in settings. This is the magical place where you basically beg iTunes to move your music over.
- You gotta flip Sync Music to ON by clickin' that checkbox (we know, icons are hard).
- Check off the other boxes to tell iTunes which songs you're not gonna regret hearin' on repeat. You can send your Entire music library or just Selected playlists, artists, albums and genresโwhatever makes you feel like you have taste.
- If you picked option two (aka "I'm picky"), checkmark the stuff you actually wanna keep.
- When your thumb gets tired of clickin', hit the Apply button in the bottom left corner & watch the magic happen (spoiler: it's just code).
- Verify the tunes landed by openin' the Music app from your home screen & scrollin' til your eyes bleed.
